JUNIOR TENNIS
JUNIOR TENNIS
At Appeti Tennis we put junior tennis at the forefront of our minds. We are proud to say that we specialise in the development of junior tennis players from beginners to world ranked players. At Appeti Tennis we have activities and programmes for all ages and abilities and welcome new children to the centre and the wonderful sport of tennis.
Our junior programme is aimed at youngsters who are just beginning tennis or who enjoy playing recreationally once or twice a week. Typically, children aged 3-10 play mini tennis and older children play on a full court!
Coaching sessions are aimed at learning correct techniques and developing match skills whilst making friends and having plenty of fun.
Players in our junior programme can come to group sessions, have individual lessons, compete in matches at the centre or attend our camps during the school holidays.
We also operate a “Tennis School”, in partnership with The Canterbury Academy, this programme launched in 2003 and has helped dozens of children realise their tennis potential while still being able to focus on their academic achievements.
